Kris W. Peterson (she/her) Kris is an award-winning actor/director/educator. Kris is a Latina and native Utahn with over seventeen years experience teaching and coaching secondary school students. Her students have gone on to win several first place awards at the Utah Shakespeare Festival High School Shakespeare Competition. She has directed for Saratoga Springs Arts Council, Lehi Arts Council, and Creekside Theatre Festival. She completed an internship with the Tony-Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival and has completed acting and directing coursework at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London where she studied under Philip Bird, Glynn Macdonald, and Yvonne Morley. She is an Edwin Rudd scholarship recipient. She is currently an assistant professor at Brigham Young University where her focus is preparing future theatre educators and directors.
